WOOF WELCOME KIT
Each furry guest at Qwantani receives a special WOOF Welcome Kit on arrival, packed with thoughtful goodies to make their stay extra comfortable. The kit includes a small treat, a dog biscuit, a microfibre cloth for wiping paws, a chew toy, and a copy of the Bon-A-Pet-Treat menu. To help keep things clean and convenient, four doggy poop bags are also provided, along with a Furry Frequent Diner Passport for those planning to sample more from our doggy dining delights.

Set along the shores of the stunning Sterkfontein Dam, our spacious self-catering, 3-bedroom chalets combine comfort, style, and spectacular views. With dedicated dog-friendly amenities and wide-open spaces to explore, Qwantani offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for guests travelling with their furry companions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Don’t be in the doghouse!
- Let us know in advance if your dog will be joining your holiday – we can’t wait to welcome them!
- Maximum 2 dogs per chalet, each weighing under 40kg.
- All dogs must been vaccinated within the last 12 months, and a vaccination certificate must be presented at check-in.
- Upon arrival, your dog will receive a special collar marker to wear for the duration of their stay.
- A stay fee of R100 per dog per night applies.
- A refundable deposit of R1,000 per unit is required if you are bringing your dog(s).
- Dogs are not permitted in the main building or restaurant, but are welcome in the Bar, Boma, and on the Restaurant Terrace.
- Dogs must always be kept on a lead (maximum 2 metres) and remain under control at all times.
- Guests are asked to be mindful of others and to inform fellow dog owners if their dog is not social.
- Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste in the designated bins. Additional waste bags are available at the resort store.
- To ensure your dog feels at home, we provide cosy bedding, fleece blankets, and water and food bowls – but you’re welcome to bring your own, if preferred.
